Why Krishna gave liberation to demons who were killed by Him?

Why Krishna gave liberation to demons who were killed by Him?

A male devotee (Name hidden) asked like this:

"Hare Krishna Prabhuji,  It is said that Krishna gave liberation to those who approached him with anger and lust. Even Shukadeva Goswami and Vyasadeva tell that by anger, lust or hatred many people can attain his form. I have question that why do Krishna gives liberation to these people who didn't have devotion to him and rather had negative emotions towards him and what is their status or position in the spiritual world? Thank you."

REPLY:

Whoever connected to Krishna in any form will get purified.

He may be a demon or a pious person.

Sun does not see whether it is water or flowers or stool. If these three are taken near the Sun, all these three will be burnt.

Sun will not refuse to burn Stool because it is a nasty one.

Even dirty or salty Water is evaporated from the ponds and sea by the Sun and makes those dirty and salty waters into the pure rain water.

Similarly, anyone who associates with Krishna for any purpose will get purified.

You would have read in Itikas and puranas that the demons when killed by Krishna or Rama would pray to the Lord for His mercy.

Naraka asura, when killed by Krishna prayed that the day on which he was killed should be celebrated by the people by lighting the lamps in their homes. So, Diwali was started to be celebrated.

Ravana prayed to Lord Rama when he died.

Jaya & Vijaya, the gate keepers of Vaikunta took birth as demons getting cursed by rishis and were killed by the Lord in His different avatars and then went back to the Lord’s kingdom.

We have to note a point here. Jaya & Vijaya went back to Vaikunta because their living place was vaikunta before they came to earth getting cursed. But other demons got liberated when they were killed by the Lord, but they did not go to Vaikunta or Goloka.

Getting liberated and getting moksha are different. Getting liberated means attaining mukti, ie, mingling with the Brahmam (brahma jyoti). Getting moksha means getting Krishna/ Vishnu/ Narayana after death and involving in the service of the Lord.

Demons may get liberated because of getting the sight and association of the Lord, but, they will not be allowed to witness or participate in the lilas of Krishna.

But, the devotees who associate with Krishna by chanting His holy names and develop Prema for Krishna will not only get liberated, but also be allowed to enter into the kingdom of Kirishna.

That means, Krishna gives a devotee the topmost status of as His associate or servant who is eligible to witness or take part in His lilas.

Getting liberated is not a great status. One becomes nothing without any identity after getting liberated. Because He, ie, the athma mingles with the Brahmam and loses its identity.

This Mukti status is better than rebirth, but, not better than getting the Lord Himself.

Demon Hiranya was eligible to get liberated because he was killed by the Lord Himself. But his Son Prahalad was eligible to associate with Krishna in His kingdom.

Thus, the devotees can associate with Krishna as a Person with a Spiritual body.

How blissful it will be?

This blissful state is not given to the demons killed by Krishna.

Hope you are clear why Krishna gave liberation to demons who were killed by Him.
