DETAILS OF FOUR YUGAS AND LIFE TIME OF BRAHMA!

(1) FOUR YUGAS

Satya Yuga,   Treta Yuga,    Dvapara Yuga  &   Kali Yuga.

(1) Satya Yuga lasts for 17,28000 years;  It is characterized by Virtue, Wisdom and religion and no ignorance and no vice (ie, ; no indiscipline); The world was very spritual & peaceful.

(2) Treta Yuga lasts for 12,96000 years;  In Treta Yuga, vice were introduced. ie, indiscipline started in the society!

(3) Dvapara Yuga lasts for 8,64000 years; This yuga witnessed greater decline in virtue (Morality) & religion & increase in indiscipline.

(4) The present KALI YUGA lasts for 4,32000 years out of which 5000+ years crossed;  In Kali Yuga there is an abundance of Strife (conflicts), ignorance, irreligion, vice (indiscipline), non existence of true morality".

This 4 yuga cycle continues again & again. Thus, when the 4 yugas repeat/ rotate 1000 times, it comprises one day time of Brahma  (called a MAHA YUGA) & same 1000 times of 4 yugas comprises a night time of Brahma.  

These 2000 Mahayugas (1000 days & 1000 nights of Brahma) are collectively known as a KALPA.  So, a day+Night of Brahma is a  KALPA.

Brahma lives 100 such years.   

These "hundred years" by earth calculations totals to 311 trillion and 40 billion earth years.  

This is the life time of Brahma. 

After this life time, a New Brahma is appointed! 

Present Brahma has completed 50 years of age!
