Being Sensitive to failures and issues of life! How to avoid it?

“Namaste Prabhuji, I offer my obeisance to you for giving regular articles through this website. Also, always thankful for making us overcome our problems with your articles. I want to ask that i want to do something great for my life but i cannot do anything. Also, if there is even small failure in my life, i stopped to do my duties. I was not able to do my duties and feel guilty myself and felt that i am missing more opportunities in my life. I think that i was really very bad and feel sorry for Krishna. Krishna is giving this life and i am not doing my duty said by krishna. Whether i was really bad? Also, by thinking that i feel frustrated, depressed and stopped to doing my duties. It's a request to you guruji please conceal my name.”

REPLY:

The reasons for such sensitivities are the following:

(i) We consider others very important and hence we like to make everyone a perfect person.

(ii) We are thinking that this world SHOULD EXIST filled with only good people.

(iii) We expect that others should hear our words and respect us..

(iv) We expect that we should get only success.

Let me explain one by one.

(1)

First one: Willing to make others perfect.

There is no chance to make all the audience perfect.

See, karma is our strong hold that do not leave even sanyasis in kaliyuga.

Everyone is blessed with a certain mix of guna (modes) even when he takes birth.

He takes birth packed with a NATURE that is fixed based on the mix of three modes – mode of goodness, mode of passion and mode ofn ignorance.

This mix is different for every person like palm lines.

You may try to totally reform anyone with the lectures or writings.

He has acquired his original nature for many decades since birth.

So, just with a single shot of knowledge , we can not totally reform that person.

After hearing the advice, he should live with good people for decades and live as a good person like them.

Then only he can reform himself.

Even after that, if he leaves the company of those good people, HE MAY AGAIN REMEMBER HIS OLD NATURE AND FALL DOWN IN CHARACTER.

That is why, it is said that ONE’S NATURE BY BIRTH CAN NOT BE PERMANENTLY CHANGED.

It may be in a dormant state when we try to lead a good life.

When we allow a gap without the company of good people, that dormant nature will come out making us vulnerable to violations.

That is why, it is advised that one should not get stop with getting reformed within mind, but, he should always live in the company of good people to avoid his dormant original  nature coming out.

(2) THIS WORLD CAN NOT HAVE ONLY GOOD PEOPLE

Why?

Krishna, that means, Karma network uses bad people to teach lessons to someone or to make them add new karma.

Because, if I had cheated someone in my previous birth, I should be cheated by someone in this birth as per the equation of karma.

So, someone should exist on earth to cheat me now. So, there always will be both good and bad people on this earth.

If all the bad people are made not to exist, the karma network will have no work.

(3) EXPECTING OTHERS TO HEAR OUR WORDS

No chance. Because a person is living in this world only because he has some ego that he is doing something.  If he gets the maturity that it is the god who is dong everything and he is only an instrument, he wil not live here and he will get liberated from bondage here itself.

See, In previous yugas, the people will not start eating in their home unless they have not had any guest that day to have food.  They will eat only after feeding the guest such as sanyasis, beggars, poor, devotees, etc. 

But, in this kaliyuga, good devotees or sanyasis the people have forgotten such good practices.

This is happening even in this site service. Though we give the most sincere service, many people are unable to understand the real value of this service.

Why this happens?

It is the trend of kaliyuga.

In this kaliyuga, the people like to be cheated. So, most of the people would go behind the cheaters. Because, the people of kaliyuga are strongly screened by maya. So, only the negatives will look attractive to them. Positives will not attract them.

That is why, there are heavy crowd behind bogus spiritual personalities; whereas, good devotees are suffering.

(4) WE EXPECT ONLY THE SUCCESS:

This is very true.

Who likes to face failures?

Everyone is working or living to succeed in their goals.

But, only if our karma network allows it, we can taste success in anything,.

Success is a test for us to prove our detachment even after getting the blessings.

Failure is a blessing or escape from big miseries.

Failures are also good as failing in bad targets is good.

For the devotees, Krishna gives failures in the targets that will deviate a person from devotion.

So, failures are also good.

If we learn to handle the above four aspects, we will not be sensitive to failures and problems.
