COMPOSITION OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM!

There are 18 Puranas. Many may know.

Mahabharatha alone has 1.25 lakh verses.

Do you know how many verses are there in all the 18 Puranas?

Totally 4 lakh verses in all the 18 Puranas.

Out of this 4 lakh verses, Srimad Bhagavatham has 18,000 verses.

No. of Cantos in Bhagavatham:  12.

No. of chapters in Srimad Bhagavatham :  335.

The messages spoken by Srimad Bhagavatham:

(i) Bonafide Purana to know about the  Lord Krishna

(ii) Avatars of Krishna;

(iii) The qualities that the devotees should develop;

(iv) Creations.

(v) Trend of Kaliyuga and Kaliyuga avatar.

Though one does not all other Puranas, he should read atleast Srimad Bhagavatham alone that is equal to reading all the 18 Puranas.
